DWFritz develops sophisticated custom material handling machines for use in storing, retrieving and accumulating different parts and products. We have developed ASRS systems for items large and small, such as vials and cartridges.
Typical reasons for storing include: aging, sample testing, optimization of product flow, and special inventory tracking needs. Our systems interface directly with production flow or work off-line via carts, trays, or totes. Objects may be handled in batches or individually. An internal database will track all part information (i.e. time-stamp, part number, batch, etc.).
Input parts at a rate of 40 per minute while simultaneously outputting 140 per minute. Stores from 10,000 to 250,000 parts.

Our robotic material handling system features a six-axis Adept robot performing user-defined tasks within an expandable work cell environment. In the basic unit the robot moves on an overhead linear track between a work cell and a single storage cell.
