Automated Sorting

Using sensors or machine vision, DWFritz Automation will develop a cost-effective machine to automate your sorting process. Depending on your needs, we can integrate off-the-shelf components or custom-design a turnkey solution. For example, our fastener-sorting machine can be designed to sort parts based on almost any measurable characteristic. Bolts, fasteners, screws, and implants can all be automatically sorted. We have also incorporated X-ray technology for sorting high value electronic items that are identical on the outside, but have different internal components.

Automated Recycling System

This automated debagging and sorting system receives inkjet cartridges returned through the mail for bulk recycling. Cartridges are received in bulk tote boxes and are dumped into a large feed hopper where the cartridges are oriented and any contamination is rejected into a trash system.

Wafer Sorting Platform

Machine receives processed wafers via conveyor and uses machine vision to read wafer ID’s. Using custom software to determine location, a Brooks-PRI® robot sorts the wafers into one of 10 cassettes.
