Senior Vision Engineer

Our Senior Vision Engineer works with a team of other experienced and innovative engineers and technicians to develop first time, custom automated equipment. If you enjoy seeing your creative work being implemented into amazing hardware, this is the job for you.

You will be responsible for the development of vision programs for custom automation and robotic systems. You will architect, design, code, test, and maintain complex vision applications developing specifications for assigned projects.

Our Senior Vision Engineer will:

Interface with customers during quoting, specification, design review, buy-off, installation phases
Have vision system applications skills involving Cognex, Keyence, and Matrox, as well as camera, lens, and lighting selection
Have the ability to program C/C , VB6, and .NET
Have the skills to develop user specific GUIs
Possess PC control application skills, as well as metrology, motion control, Gage R&R, and precision automation networking skills

The Senior Vision Engineer is a challenging, high visability position that will utilize your experience to allow you to work with high-level automation technologies within a project team to develop cutting edge automation equipment.

Job Requirements:

BSEE or BSCS
Excellent vision development and application skills
Minimum of 5 years recent manufacturing programming experience
Five years additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
PLC and other PC programming skills
